Installing Windows XP after Linux
is there any way i can dual boot linux/windows after i installed linux first. i have two different hard disks installed in this computer. the first is a 40 gb with windows 2003 installed, which i plan to format and install xp. the second has red hat 9 on it, which i dont want to lose. if i format the first hard drive durring the installation of win xp will grub still load and will i be able to pick what os i want to boot in? if not is there any way i can fix it where it will.
Thanks, Andrew |
After installing, grub will not load. You can fix it by rebooting your computer on a Red Hat rescue disk, and reinstalling the bootloader; you will also need to tell it about Windows XP in order for it to be able to boot that.
