Installing Bugzilla on Radhat 9
 

Hi, I am new to Bugzilla and linux. Did anyone install bugzilla on RH9? Any help will be appriciated.

Bugzilla installation process as follows:
Install Perl (part of RH9)
Install My Sql (part of RH9)
Install Webserver (part of RH9)
Install Bugzilla
Install Per Modules
Configure all

Any idea how do i go about doing this and how do i verify first 3 softwares are install correctly in Linux.

firstly, mysql, perl and apache (the webserver) are more than likely all installed already. you can check by going to add / remove packages, and checking if perl, httpd and mysql is installed. Then, as root, run redhat-config-services, and check that they are all started and will run automatically. Installing bugzilla is quite a process, the best advice i can give after this is to follow the instructions on the site as far as you can, and post again where you get stuck.
