Installation problems of Red Hat on a secondary HD....

I just recently installed Fedora. I currently have 2 hard drives and a third hard drive that I'm running on a RAID controller. I want to install Linux on the drive thats on the RAID card and I did. But when it restarts, the bootmanager does not come up at all and will just take me directly to windows. I have tried reinstalling both in the GUI install and text install. Please help.

You probably installed the bootloader to the boot record of the third drive instead of the first. Check your BIOS settings for something like "boot offboard drive controllers first". Otherwise, install the bootloader to the MBR of /dev/hda instead.
Why are you running a single drive on a RAID controller?

I just recently took out my other hard drive and now I have one primary master which runs XP Pro and on the same IDE line is the primary slave which I will put Linux on. I just reinstalled everything and now when it reboots all I get is a black screen with "GRUB" on the upper left corner. I've waited for 15 minutes and nothing so far. Does anyone have any information on this. I chose the automatic partition instead of doing a custom partition.

EDIT:

I just recently did a search and found out the problem. I reinstalled everything again and after 5-6 reinstalls I now have Linux up.
