Install PHP5 on RHEL 5 without Install Disc

I'm trying to install PHP5 on RHEL 5. I have the original install disc but no drive currently to read it. Is it possible for me to use YUM to install PHP5 without having access to the drive? If so what is the recommended repository to get those files? Any help would be great. I'm new to this.

with red hat you HAVE TO BUY $$$ the required support contract
100% must buy it , or you do not install software .

buy the required license
register you install and install php5 ( should be installed by default though... )
and install php

on RHEL "Apache", "Mysql", and "php" are almost always installed by default

however rhel5 is getting a bit old

you might want to install RHEL6.3 and buy a license for that

or if you are NOT going to buy the required license
do not use RHEL and install one of the FREE rebuilds
like CentOS 6.3 ( or if the OLD 5 is a MUST USE !!! then CentOS5.8 )

Thanks for the response, and Now that I better understand that CentOs is the free version of RHEL then that's the way we'll need to go.

In the mean time I have to get a temporary install up today. Is it possible to register a 30 trial of RHEL 5 if it's already installed? I realize it's out of date but it's configured and I need to get something up. I don't think the guy who initially installed even registered. I'm hoping I can register and be able to use yum to get up to date and running. Thanks for any advise.

Yes, it's possible, but why? If you're going to go the CentOS route anyway, you can install it fresh in less time than it would take you to work through getting the system registered, then changing things later.

Load CentOS now, save yourself some headaches later. If this is a company, production server and you need 24/7 uptime, spend the money on support. If you need it, it's there.
