NO

I take it you did not read the install instructions on the redhat site
-- please do so
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...ide/index.html

you first have to buy the REQUIRED support contract
a standard 1 year contract is $299 per year for a single desktop install ( there is a $49 self support license)

then you install the desktop

or

seeing as RHEL is mainly a server operating system and dose NOT need a GUI installed one is NOT installed by default

you DO have the install DVD that is STILL covered under the 30 day FREE TRIAL and you DID!!!!! register it with REDHAT!!! right!!!!

then just pop in the dvd and reinstall but put a check mark on the "install desktop" option

if you do not buy the required support contract you basically DO NOT install any software

you have to BUY IT!!!

or

install the FREE clone CentOS 7.1
Cent is a clone of the redhat code BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! with added extra software for use on the DESKTOP

Very emotive :-D, I am just a pirate that installed the stolen version you know. CentOs is what happens when people shit in the pool in a Hungarian underground club while others are having sex. It's too bad, what would be the problem to install gui just to try it? But even so, self-supported version means there still will be updates and just no support?

you can always use the install dvd to "upgrade" the install to one with Gnome desktop installed

but without buying the REQUIRED support contract you do not install anything NOT on the dvd

you use REDHAT FOR!!!!!!!! the support you BUY!!!!!!

or

you use CentOS 7.1 or ScientificLinux 7.1
they are 99.9999 percent the same code base
