In RHEL5/Oracle11g, database delete option greyed out..

I am new to the Oracle admin on Linux.
I have installed Oracle 11g on RHELL5.
I have created couple of databases using DBCA.
Now to delete the database, the option is greyed out.

Can anybody please help me in this regard.

Thanks and regards,
Srinivas

If you don't have the option, chances are you don't have permissions to delete. Use the Oracle admin account. The best suggestion is to contact Oracle, and ask them for assistance, and to pick up a book on Oracle administration. If you're brand new to it, you'll need everything you can get....

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.
Can you please suggest a Oracle admin book which helps me in understanding the basic Linux\Oracle administration tasks.

Eagerly waiting for your reply....

Thanks and regards,
Srinivas
