Unhappy how tocompile kernel for installing speedtouch 330 driver


Hi!

I used a speedtouch modem on windows xp.So now i installed redhat 9 but the modem can't connect to internet.Someone say me to download a file on speedtouch site web and then to compile the kernel with this file.But i dont know how to do.If someone can help me to do it i thank him before.

Well on Redhat 9 there are several ways you could go about this - Speedbundle http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/index.html works but my preference is for the Speedtouchconf bundle http://speedtouchconf.sourceforge.net/
Try them both. Read all the help files and README files. You'll need to read the error messages and use them as a guide to what to do next. When you get stuck post back with where you're up to.
