How to upgrade RHEL 4 WS Open Office to 2.0

Hello,

What is the correct way to upgrade Open Office to the 2.0 version on RHEL 4 WS. I would like to remove OO that is installed with WS and then add 2.0. Keeping the same menus.

Thank you,

Paul

No so called correct way that I am aware of....

Grab the OOo 2 rpms from Fedora Core 4 updates, dependencies may be required for installation, check by using the '--test' switch first.

What I grabbed for use (CentOS-4.2 systems);

$ rpm -qa 'openoffice*' | sort
openoffice.org-calc-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-core-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-draw-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-graphicfilter-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-impress-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-javafilter-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-math-2.0.1-143.2.1
openoffice.org-testtools-2.0.1-143.2.1
