How to upgrade Apache from 2.0.40 to 2.0.53 on Red Hat Linux 9?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to upgrade Apache (httpd) from version 2.0.40 (default in Red Hat Linux 9) to the most current version 2.0.53?

Many thanks.

rpm -e httpd

wget apache sources from apache.org

./configure
make
make install

cp old conf to new apache directory or ./configure with appropriate path names.

Or find an rpm for rh9
