How to start RSHD?

This is first time I am using rshd. I did install package rsh-server and tried to start service normal way, but ten I realised there is no rhsd service.

What should I do?

#chkconfig --list | grep rsh
#rsh: off

RHEL4.

Thumbs up How to start RSHD

you should be starting xinetd service

command> service xinetd restart

This should start rsh service

Also check if rsh is turned on incase you reboot it should start again

command> chkconfig rsh --list

if it is off then
command> chkconfig rsh on

Thanks
