How to install wine in rhel5


How to install wine in rhel5 and ubuntu 9.10

pay red hat for updates and access to there software repo. .then install the red hat network repo. Then run

@Ramesh, if you do not wish to pay for RHEL support and updates, consider using CentOS instead

Red Hat does not provide the "wine" package in their yum update process. You will have to download the package elsewhere.

There is mharris's repository with latest wine packages, and regular olde wine is in the EPEL repository.
