how to get vc++ running with wine

My wine opens vc++ successfully but when it comes to creating a workspace or a project it hangs what should i do or is there any gnu c++ compiler in linux if so pls let me know

Forget about running vc++ in Linux. You probably already have gnu c++ compiler installed. Try this in your console:
$ g++ --version
See if that put some message.
I bet u want to use some front end like vc++. Try this: ( with c++ plugin )
