How to create custom install CD with third party driver built in?

During the Redhat install, I have to type 'linux dd' and then insert the driver disc so the system can recognize the card and attached harddrives.

I have multiple systems to install this on so I'd like a single install CD solution where the RAID card is automatically detected. How can I create such a custom installation CD? Thanks!

I'm actually semi-familar with using a kickstart file in that I can use it automatically select the package and install options. What confuses me is the RAID driver which isn't included in the distro.

Since I need to install a driver outside of the normal package set, would I need to recompile the kernel to include this driver or something like that? Thanks.

Yes, to both the boot (CD/DVD) kernel and to the kernel installed (of course).

You might find something like kiso (kde based) or mount-iso helpful to replace the kernels in say the standard CD/DVD images;
