How to check SCSI disk details on RH9

Hi,
How to check SCSI disk (presently connected as sda on my m/c) details (like speed/rpm,make/model) on RH9.Also what are the details in particular I need to know/take care while adding new disk to overcome space constraint.

Thanks & Regards,
Kiran.
