Help,I can't find my USB mouse when I run "kudzu" command in RH9.

I was puzzled by the problem which system can't find USB mouse as soon as running "kudzu" command, but it can recognize PS/2 mouse.
Do anyone solve this problem or tell me why?
Thinks in advance!
