Finally dear people, I managed to configure the modem and I'm online with my Mandrake 9.
It was Red Hat 9 2 hours ago but I've decided to change it and now with Mandrake I'm OONNN.
But now I need some help with the following.
How do I get screensavers in here.
RH9 had some screensavers and some wallpaper that I'd like to bring to Mandrake. How do I do it?
Any info please.

Start kcontrol (control center).

Wallpaper is at:
kcontrol -> Appearance & Themes -> Background -> Wallpaper

Screensavers are at
kcontrol -> Appearance & Themes -> Screen Saver
