grub dual boot redhat 8/win2k problem

I installed redhat 8.0 to 1 partion of a 30 gig hard drive using grub, I had win2k on the other partion, additionally I had two other hard drives set up under grub, a 20 gid hd w/win2k and a 8 gig w/win2k. The linux installation with grub went fine but when I tried to load win2k on the 30 gig hard drive I received an error message (something like incompatable_boot_device), can anybody help me with this problem.

be more specific. If you are able to strart linux, can you please boot as root and post the result of those to commands:
/sbin/fdisk -l
that's a low L not a 1.
cat /boot/grub/grub.conf
if /boot/grub/grub.conf does not exist try:
cat /etc/grub.conf
Also the exact windows boot error would also be helpfull
