gnome-session relocation error

Hi,

I recently upgraded my RedHat8 through "up2date"... and I rebooted and I'm unable to go into my Gnome anymore. This is the error I get:

/usr/bin/gnome-session: relocation error: /usr/lib/libXft.so.2 : undefined symbol: ft_set_hint_flags

I'm thinking it has something to do with XFree but I don't know how to reinstall any of these things in the console.

I've also gone through my XF86Config and reconfigured a few times, I can get a glimpse of the screen coming up and then it pops out again and gives me that same error.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I still haven't been able to get the Xwindows up, cause I get errors. Is there a way to reinstall or patch this so it loads again?

Thanks.
