Getting the installer program to offer "Install from HD" option.

I am running RH 7.3, and would like to upgrade it to 9. I have the ISO images saved. All I need to do is run the installer program and tell it to install from HD...and then select the device. So, then, how do I get the installer program to run? If I boot off the original CD (v7.3) it wants to install off the CD and doesn't give me an option to choose the location of the ISO files. If I boot off a boot disk it boots off the boot installer program.

Any thoughts?
