Getting my computer to automatically start XP and RH 9 only from floppy

Hi!

I am going to instal my copy of Red Hat 9 to the other HD than the one that has allready my XP. The thing is only I will need to use the RH9 so it would be just waste of time for me to teach my family to choose the WinXP from the bootmenu. I would like my computer automatically boot to XP if no bootdisk for RH9 would be inserted. How should I do that.Would it be enough just to force BIOS only to search boot records from HD1 and floppy/CD and not from HD2 where my linux will be. please answer also to my email couse I'll propably forget this forum in a matter of days. The addres is r1qp at hotmail dot com.

Thanks.

You can either not install the boot loader and make a Linux boot disk, or you can set your Win HD as the default boot and it'll automatically boot after about 5 seconds or so unless you press -down- to your linux boot. It's a simple process to use the boot loader though, just highlight the desired OS and press -enter-.

Hope it helps.
