Gateway setting for dual NIC cards?

I can't find how to set a gateway for a second nic on a RH AS 2.1 system. Can anyone clue me in.

Thx,

Hi
take out the gateway entry from /etc/sysconfig/network and enter the diffrent entries into /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethXXX where XXX is the number of the diffrent NICS

I am not to sure as I never did this but give it a go.....
Let me know if this worked

Why would you configure two default gateways?

If you are on only one subnet then you can use the /etc/sysconfig/network file but if you are using 2 diffrent subnets then /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethXXX file will be the way to go

Default gateway is used when no other route to host is known, so basically you can have only one default gateway.
