fedora rpms on rhel

The nscd version available for RHEL4 seg faults in my ldap environment. The updated version available in FC4 works fine.

I have a few work-arounds, but I'm wondering if there's any risk in installing the FC4 rpm on RHEL4. It installs ok and appears to work. I'm sure rehdat support would frown upon it but I'm more concerned about legitimate technical issues that I'm not considering or am unaware of.

Thanks for the help.

Then use the rpm, not really an issue. Many of the FC3/4 rpms are binary compatible with RHEL4 and should not be a problem.
