FADT issue on CentOS4.4
 

Hi folks,

When I install CentOS4.4 and reboot, it complains:

Uncompressing linux... OK, boot the kernel
BIOS bug: Legacy-free FADT detected, but FADT size(129) is incorrected.

I've googled, but get no satisfied answers. It seems this FADT issue was also annoying many people,see the following(I also paste this issue there):

Please give me some hints, thanks in advance.

Things to try;
1. See if a BIOS upgrade is available for the system
2. Try booting and adding the switch noapic to the kernel line.
3. Try the test kernel here; http://people.redhat.com/linville/kernels/rhel4/
