Enabling Crash Dump Collection

Hello Everyone,

Could someone tell me how to enable global core dumping in Red Hat ES 4. Basically, I want be able to generate vmcore when a kernel panic occurs. Is there anything close to Solaris' coreadm command?

Thanks in advance

There are instructions in the Redhat FAQs.

Just make sure you do not use a virtual address and check your arp table to make sure your getting to it on the correct interface.
