Question Eci-load 2: fail on RH9, on a Globespan-virata adsl modem

Hi.
I am a linux newbie, and I can't seem to get my ADSL connection working.
I have downloaded drivers that should be good for my modem / ISP, but when I startmodem it fails on stage 3/5: eci-load 2: fail, can't get synch or something like that. I think the problem is with the bin file.

What can I do ?
