Do not have any sound in Redhat9!

Hi,

where is some problem about the sound in my Redhat9

the system detect my sound card as :

Vendor: Inter Corp.
Model: 82801 CA/CAM AC'97 Audio
Module: i810_audio

Usually, when I start my computer, the sound works fine, but after 5 ~ 10 minutes, my system will have no sound at all, if I restart my computer, the sound will work fine again for 5 ~ 10 minutes, then it doesn't work.

Any solutions? Thank you!!!!!!!

did u try using the play button in the cd drive using a audio cd..
if u can hear sound when playing directly from CD drive then it will make sure ur mobo is OK..
What is the program that stops playing sound..?
