"cp -p" fails with "cp: setting permissions for `/home/svbld/t': Invalid argument"
Please help with the following error that I am experiencing on Redhat 3. Redhat 4 works fine.
When I am using "cp -p t1 t" command I get the following error: cp: setting permissions for `/home/svbld/t': Invalid argument cp command without any arguments works fine. This only happens on the ZFS file system. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks Mike |
Please paste the relevant output of "ls -l /home/ | grep svbld" and "ls -l t".
