Unhappy console

Hi, I am totally new to redhat. I have two questions, one is a simple one. I have 9.0 how do you get the keyboard numlock key to come on when you boot up.
Next I have a nvidia ti4200. I guess i need to download the drivers for linux which i did but when installing them it says i have to do it in a vga console or something. How do i do this? Remember make it real simple I'm slow.

For the keyboard, go into your Control Center, and under peripherals choose Keyboards. It should be right in there. (Turn Numlock on KDE Startup, select On).
