Connecting to win xp from RH9

I had installed Mandrake before and was able to do a remote desktop connection to my other xp computer, but as having some conflicts and installed RH9, I'm new to linux and not to familiar, how can I access, or establish a connection with my other xp.
Any help will be appreciate.
Thanks

Smile Use Samba to connect to Windows

I used this command
mount -t smbfs -o username=don,password=******* //win2000server/data /mnt/smbshare
you create the smbshare directory and then you use the command.
Also, you need a userid and password.
By the way, I had to do this as root and had to have a samba server on my linux box.
You can go man samba on your linux box and it has a lot of info and some samba websites.
Good Luck
