I'm a new linux user. Thus I try exploring and experience the goodness of linux

Currently, I have two computers. 1st computer has setup a simple PDC by using samba (RHEL4). I did follow some of the steps that I found from the Internet. Windows XP (2nd computer) easily get joined to the samba domain and also can login to the computer by using domain user (Sambs). After formatted my 2nd computer and installed linux (RHEL4), unfortunately the linux client cannot join domain and cannot login by using domain user. Therefore, I'll very much appreciate if anyone kind enough to guide the steps of configuring the linux client, in order to join domain and login by using domain user.
