How can I run xwindows application from a Redhat box on a Fedora one. Tried running xsane from a box with the scanner that runs on RH9 on my FC3 workstation and got the error
" Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:"
I previousy could start xsane without problems before upgrading my box from RH9 to FC3.

How are you connecting from one computer to the other? Are you using SSH? If so, you can enable X-forwarding when you connect: "ssh -Y ...".
