CentOS6.3 - dual portrait monitors - mouse issues

I have a CentOS 6.3 machine, nvidia card, proprietary nvidia drivers. Dual 1920x1200 monitors, both rotated to portrait mode, running separate X sessions (not twinview or xinerama). I was unable to get the rotation working correctly in xorg.conf directly, so I set up a X startup script to use xrandr to rotate them when I log in.

All of that works great, the problem is the mouse transition from screen to screen is having issues. The top 1200 pixels work fine, but below that there's an imaginary "wall" between the two monitors that prevents the mouse from moving from one to the other. In essence, I'm running a total resolution of 2400x1920. The top 1200 pixels work fine, but the bottom 720 pixels won't allow the mouse to transition between monitors.

Any ideas?
