Question Cant update kernel missing dependencies

When i try to update my kernel it says missing dependencies :

mkinitrd >=3.5.5

where do i get these dependencies?

What version of OS is it?

In case of RHEL you can get it through up2date or RHN, In case of older RHL you can download it from public repositories like FreshRPMS, etc.

In case of Fedora use yum.
