I'm trying to install fnlib 0.5-9 but it keeps saying libImlib.so.1 is needed. I already have libImlib.so.1, but I cant tell that smf fnlib rpm where it's at. I tried --prefix=/usr to see if I could get it to look in the usr directory but it just said that package fnlib is not relocateable. If I just do --nodeps or --force, how will I get it to work with imlib?

Rep:
if it will not work with your libimlib then it won't work. you'll just have to use --nodeps, and if it doesn't work, it just doesn't work. i doubt it will work, but it will not be because of something you didn't tell the rpm. you'll probably have to compile it yourself.
Is libImlib.so.1 really in the RPM database? If so, rpm --query --whatprovides libImlib.so.1 should succeed. If it doesn't, rpm cannot resolve the dependencies.
