can't stop service name shown by nmap

I used nmap against my computer and it showed me the belowed:

- domain
- rndc
- kdm
- X11

i tried to stop all these services using all the above name but it didn't work (Ex: service X11 stop).

So can u show me the actual name for all the services above?

X11 is X running.. if you don't want it to listen at start time, use the nolisten option.. and kdm, well, that's what your using for your graphical login, probably go away if you disable listening for X, not sure though.. rndc.. never heard and domain.. not totally sure on these either.. make sure they're not applications your using.

It helps if you post the actual port that each is listening on as well..
