Can't able to run Redhat 6 64 bit in Oracle VM Virtual box 4.3.4
I'm using Lenovo Laptop with Intel core-i3 4030U processor. But while booting Redhat 6 64-bit in Oracle VM Virtual box 4.3.4 it is showing an error message.
"This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."
But I'm using 64-bit Windows 8.1.
Please help me to solve the problem.

this is RHEL 6.6 so you did buy the REQUIRED support contract
redhat is NOT FREE!!!!
you have to buy the required support contract to be able to install anything
the standard 1 year LICENSE is $299 per year .For a single desktop install
so when you did buy the contract that gets you access the the redhat knowledgebase
( like the Microsoft knowledgebase )
log into the redhat site using the credentials you set up when you bought the support contract and do a search
...and this is exactly the same link I sent the OP to before. Is there some reason to post the same thing again???

Your processor specs are at intel site. And it says your hardware has support for virtualization and is 64bit capable.
...which does nothing to help the OP, since they already have stated they are using a 64 bit OS, and the i3 series CPU's have supported virtualization for years now.
