Building kernel rpm with acl support

Hi,
I'm trying to build a 2.4.20-8 (the standard RH9) kernel rpm with acl support (for samba). However the only rpm's that are generated are :

kernel-BOOT-2.4.20-9.acl.i386.rpm
kernel-source-2.4.20-9.acl.i386.rpm
kernel-doc-2.4.20-9.acl.i386.rpm

There is no kernel-2.4.20-9.acl ??

I've outlined the steps taken below :

First of all i installed the 2.4.20-8..src.rpm.
I've found out that RH9 ships with the acl patch'es but that they are commented out so i uncommented these patches from the kernel-2.4.spec file. I aso changed the release number to 9.acl.
I then ran "rpmbuild -ba kernel-2.4.spec"
The build took approx 3 hours (I'm using a P2). I seem to run OK - I've captured the output in a file, i'll send this to anyone who wants a look ;).

Please Help, Otherwise i'll loose my samba servers to Win 2003 !!
Thanks,
Ian
