Build versus Test on RHEL revisions (WS, ES, AS)

Hello -

I'd like to ask for assistance in determining which of the RHEL revisions (WS, ES, AS) should be used for building software? Does RedHat say that the 3 revisions are binary compatible? So presumably, if I build software on WS, I can be certain that it will run on ES and AS.

What are some of the experiences people have had of building on WS (for example) and testing on ES or AS?

I'm trying to determine what would be the best revision of RHEL to use in building software so that I can be more certain of compatibility.

Thanks for your time.

If the environments (cpu family and libs wise) are the same then what you build on one will work on the others 99.99% of the time.

Thanks for the quick response Lenard. Have you run into any instances where compatibility was not maintained?
