bringing window to front under Gnome in RHEL 3?

Hi.

I'm using Gnome as my desktop environment under Redhat Enterprise 3. Currently, I can only bring windows to the 'front' (or on 'top') by clicking on the window title bar. Under previous versions of Redhat/Gnome I could click anywhere on the window to bring it forward. Trying to find the title bar when I've got multiple windows open on my desktop is driving me nuts, and I can't find anyway to change this behavior! Can anyone tell me how to reconfigure this?

Thanks in advance!

Which version of GNOME are you currently using?

Looks like RHEL 3 ships with Gnome 2.2.2.
