audacity and libmad.so.0

I have installed all of the following and nothing has worked.

and I have the following error.

I think libmad.so.0 is parts of the mad packeage...

that's what i thought also, but it doesn't recognize the file.
i thought it was part of libmad-0.15.0b.tar.gz, but it still doesn't recognize it.
does anyone know how to fix this?
