Unhappy asuscom p-in100 isdn and redhat 9.0

I am trying to make asuscom p-in100 isdn card working under
redhat 9.0. I have tried what is written on manufacturer's
web page but without any success.
During booting it simply writes that loading of isdn modules
failed.
I have tried to compile 2.4.23 kernel without any success.
Can anybody tell me what to do as detailed as possible as I am not too experienced with linux.

Regards,
Zbigniew

It is possible that the modules you were trying to load were built for a different kernel version than the one you're running. It maybe worthwhile to see if you have the said modulename under your kernel module tree.

find /lib/modules/$(uname -r) -name modulename.o
should match your module.

What errors are you getting while compiling your kernel? At what step of the compilation process? Details would help.
