ACPI: I/O resource piix4_smbus [0x1040-0x1047] conflicts with ACPI region SMB_ [0x104
I have seen a few of these threads, so I wanted to share what worked for me. This initially appeared to be a "driver" issue, however I found that this was nothing more than a mounting issue! I had this error after one of my servers found in fstab was disconnected. It seems when the system booted and read my fstab file, the mount point I had created was no longer valid.
The solution to remove this error: simply double-check your fstab for mount points that are no longer valid or have errors. In my case it was just removing/commenting out the entry. Once you have corrected, reboot and you'll notice no more udev error.
