Transferring from save file to save partition

I have recently installed puppy on (yet another) one of my machines. It used to run live-cd and I had a small save file. After a hardware change I decided to wipe away windows and install puppy to the hdd. I got it installed correctly (from the command line), and I want to switch from using the save file to using a whole partition. I successfully transferred all the files to the new partition and renamed the save file, but I don't know how to indicate that I want to load from the new partition. Right now it just mounts a tmpfs, like on a first boot.

How do you indicate that puppy should load from this partition?

I'm using Puppy 4.00 with Linux kernel 2.6.21.7

I found out that's not quite what I wanted to do, so I've switched back to just a (bigger) save file. Seems to work fine.
