syntax error near unexpected token


# md5sum manjaro-kde-0.8.9-x86_64(1).iso
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('

I do not understand what this means.

You can rename the file to it's real name : manjaro-kde-0.8.9-x86_64.iso

`(' is the issue. I.e. the "(1)" must be removed for your shell to work.
