I did a full install of puppy linux on an old p3 laptop.
i have only puppy on this laptop
grub loads
when i hit enter to the first choice in the list
linux partition..... no problem but i have to watch it and hit enter
when i choose load grub to sda1 i get that stage1 exists stage 2 exists stage5 exists then i get
running "embed /boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0.0)"...failed (this is not fatal) that comes up twice then i get
running "install /boot/grub/stage1 (hd0.0) /boot/grub/stage2 p /boot/grub/menu.list"...succeded
done.
press enter to contunue then it goes back to the grub menu

what does all this mean and how can i get it to boot with out baby sitting it. do i need to fix something????

Ok people i figured it out
>boot> menu list > i removed the # sign infront of the time out and reduced it from 30 to 10 seconds i may reduce it to 5 or 7 ten is a little high...
i think i am getting this old p3 256 of ram humming along, just need to get a few things going and it will be great.
