Read-only file system error
To all the Good Folks who have helped me to move along with my new distro and who provided guidance in solving my original problem.
Thanks indeed! It's very reassuring to know that there are real helpers just around the corner at LinuxQuestions.org
I guess I'll be joining the Puppy Forum (murga-linux.com/puppy/) since it has been touted as "THE place to learn about Puppy Linux.". I'm sure something will come up sooner or later so we may meet again at that Forum.
