easy enuff to C/P anything relevant and most of the forum is a mess from top to bottom anyway

there has never been a focus on the fundamentals and importance of the topic and thread is about the OP, let alone staying on topic

one of the main dudes there (and among the highest of posters) said it well recently,

however that's supposed to work out,

"Some pet's are developed in earlier versions, but work in later versions.
Do you think along the line, xxx.pet, developed in 4.x.x but known to be working in lucid x.x.x, spup x.x.x etc....?"

"But for all those excellent packages in the forum, there is no overall responsibility assigned. I don't know if there is a procedure for those developers to use ibiblio if they want it."
i'm looking for a current browser and flash that may work in a 2.16.1 variant i'm running now if anyone has that info?

otherwise, like alota stuff going on there, 2.16.1 or all 2x series are useless to me

I have created Future Of Puppy Linux forum for free form discussions about this subject. I invite the public to join and make their wants known.

Now the forum is up and running, I have closed this thread. If any of you wish to further discuss the direction of the Puppy Linux Forum, there is a dedicated sub-forum here where you can request extra features or just talk about the direction of the forum. The LQ Puppy sub-forum is, of course, still here :)

Puppyite - best of luck with the forum and it's future.
