Puppy and this particular Comp

Hi, guys,

I am trying to decide whether to proceed or not with a praticular very low end computer.

Please have a look at the article

http://www.norhtec.com/products/mcjr/index.html

Is this one worthy to spend $120-170 to run Puppy?

Please let me know your thoughts because I am new to Linux.

The use of the computer will be predominantly for email, instant messenging, possibly Skype use, and very occasionaly emailing Office documents.

I will be waiting for your replies.

Thank you.

Val

Apparently it does work with Puppy.

:)
It does work and it is a worthwhile option.

You might at that price also consider a second hand laptop from http://histocsindustries.ca

They have proved to be very Puppy friendly offering great deals to Puppy users. The owner has "Puppytude" - the feel good factor that comes from using Puppy.

Another more expensive thin client that runs Puppy is

Locally look for barebones PC offers (you probably have a monitor and hard drive (you do not need a HD with Puppy incidentally)

Here is all the new Puppy hardware
