Problems with puppy....both

OK, I've installed 2 versions of puppy
1 is full install pupflux412
other is webserverpuppy1
both seem confused at startup

when installing I initially setup
X with 2-button/whell mouse imps2
and xvesa 800x600x24
I tsaid on both that settings were saved and then I reboot
both puppies after rebooting have me stuck on serial mouse "tty0"?
and I have no idea how to fix this...?!
looking at xorg config it says puppy xorgwizard handles
all that and there's nohing to edit
worse still; upon tying in xorgwizard I select xvesa and it immedietly
starts with 800x600 with serial mouse, not even aksing me kybd type/mouse,etc!?
How am I supposed to fix this?
I have no way of accessing anything via kybd or mouse..
help!
thanks

FWIW- Re-running the wizard and selecting 'xorg' should have done the trick. (The documentation tells you if xvesa causes problems to do that, BTW)

Personally, I don't use xvesa for the sole purpose of avoiding problems.

Sorry I didn't see your original post earlier...

Cheers

OK, guys I can't use the Xorg option as my graphics freezes when using xorg vs xvesa

So, are there any Puppy experts here who can tell me how to Permanently set kybd to US kybd and ps/2 mouse?

Every 2nd or 3rd boot I hit the wall where I am locked out of kybd and puppy says I have a
ttys0 serial mouse and then I'm f**** from there!

What is wrong with this distro?
Note, I have tried this on 2 different PC's with different mouses, etc
same result; sooner or later Puppy goes awry at boot.

Help!
