installing puppy in pendrive
 
I want to install puppy in pen drive.I read the procedures from net which said that just boot from live cd ,universal installer and blah blah blah
Whats the problem is that my cd writer has just got damaged therefor not able to write any cd.
is there any way to install puppy in pendrive directly??

It talks about installing linux on flash for numerous distro's (including PenDrive Linux)

yes I have.....they have procedures but with cd in.....
I want without cd....

The basic idea is to somehow mount the .iso file as a filesystem (the tricky bit)
and then just copy the vmlinuz, initrd.gz, pup_301.sfs, and zdrv_301.sfs files to wherever you want to install puppy (easy).
